How it works

Each day brings a slab of stone with a tool hidden inside it: an axe head, a knife blade, a spear head and more.

Plain stone. Strike it away.
Outlined stone is the tool. Keep it.

Striking a piece removes it. Any part of the slab that is no longer connected to the tool falls away too, so a well placed strike can clear a whole chunk at once. The puzzle ends when only the tool is left.

Par is the lowest strike count our solver found for today's stone. Beat it with no flaws and you've knapped like a pro. Hitting the tool by mistake costs a flaw, so the game asks you to tap twice before it lets you chip the tool.
